Handmade Leather Messenger Bag – Deep Red with Scalloped Flap

Some pieces are made to be noticed. This deep-red messenger bag combines a structured, boxy body with the hand-finished details of traditional leathercraft.

Its rectangular shape and boxy sides keep your phone, wallet, keys, and daily essentials neatly in place. Carry it by the top handle or wear it on the long strap, which has knotted leather fittings. The front flap has a scalloped, zig-zag edge outlined in dark hand-lacing. Two leather toggles with tassels hold it closed. The leather has a subtle woven texture, and its rich red tone deepens with wear.

The laced edges and tassel toggles reflect the leatherworking style found in northern Ghana. This bag is handmade in Ghana from genuine leather.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth, keep it out of heavy rain and high heat, and condition now and then with a neutral leather conditioner. Store it stuffed with paper so it keeps its shape.
